Launched in 2016 in Brussels, Frizbee Ceramics was founded by Belgian contextual artists. Inspired by '90s rave, street, and comics culture, they handcraft high-quality, acid-nostalgia-tinted functional porcelain tableware cast from everyday objects.
Focusing primarily on porcelain, the studio also creates lighting, sculptures, set designs, performances, exhibitions, and events.
The Sunset in Your Dishwasher collection was born in Barrosinha, where they relocated about a year ago. After three intense years working in a basement in Brussels, they finally got windows—and with them, the chance to admire the Portuguese sunsets.
